Jared R. Tauber

Jared serves as a Partner at Tauber Law Offices, offering comprehensive legal counsel to corporate clients, commercial developers, and individuals throughout Northwest Indiana. Over two decades of practice, he has structured and closed more than $300 million in complex residential and commercial real estate and business transactions, routinely advising several of the region’s largest commercial operators.


In addition to transactional matters, Jared leads significant civil litigation, focusing on substantial personal injury claims. In recognition of securing landmark multi-million-dollar results on behalf of his clients, he was inducted into the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum in 2015—an honor reserved for fewer than 1% of practicing attorneys in the United States.


Jared also provides specialized regulatory counsel in Indiana alcoholic beverage law. As one of Lake County’s leading authorities on liquor licensing, he advises hospitality groups, restaurants, and entertainment venues on license acquisitions, transfers, statutory compliance, and permit renewals.


On a personal level, Jared was born in Lake County and graduated from Highland High School in 2000. He attended Indiana University in Bloomington, where he received a degree from the Kelley School of Business. Jared then obtained his law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law on a full tuition scholarship. With lifelong ties to the region, Jared is deeply committed to the Northwest Indiana community. He resides locally with his wife, Julie, and their two children. In his free time, Jared enjoys traveling and following his favorite sports teams.
